You have a lifetime’s worth of papers — personal papers like letters and diaries, professional papers pertaining to work, and official documents like birth certificates and marriage documents. How do you get it all together so it’s nice and neat and searchable? This workshop will tell you what you need to start thinking about to organize your papers, and help you come up with an arrangement that personally suits you. A short Q&A will follow. This workshop will go over the basic steps of what you need to start your search, places to search, both online and offline, materials needed, and things to look for. Charlotte Bocage, the Education and Outreach Chair from the Southern California Genealogical Society will present this workshop as a guest speaker.
